Hey there! I am Adam.  I am a guy with lots going on in his heart and mind.  This will let it out.  I hope you enjoy getting to know me through ideas and images I post.  Leave comments and rating so I can get to know you too.

THE BIO

I am rooted in Toronto’s Roncesvalles Village as the Lead Pastor of High Park Baptist Church.  Growing up, my nurturing mother and supportive step-dad encouraged successes in sport and school for this only child.  The Christian gospel bloomed in my heart while playing football at the University of Western Ontario.  Passion for God and people branched into vocational ministry to students and seminary education. Global travel balanced and broadened my perspectives.  A knee injury ended my professional football dream and a divorce ended my marriage of 10 years.  Yet through all this,  especially in the hard and dry times, I can see that God is making me the man He wants me to be. He is making me fruitful for his fame.

-Linebacker and Guard with the Western (UWO) football team and then Toronto Argonauts acquired free agent rights before knee injuries ended career.

-Converted to Christ through the gospel by Athletes In Action UWO on the football practice field.

-Campus Minister with Youth For Christ and Athletes In Action

-International Games Chaplain for Olympiads (IOC) and World Universiades (FISU)

-Trained for Pastoral Ministry at Heritage Theological Seminary (Cambridge) and North Park Community Church (London).

-Lead Pastor for High Park Baptist Church (Est.1908) in Toronto’s resurging “Roncesvalles Village”.
